With the festive season approaching, and its associated plethora of fixtures, Fulham fans are hopeful that their side can gather enough points to be out of the relegation pack come the new year.
We’re only too aware of what usually happens to clubs that find themselves marooned in that part of the table come the turn of a year, relegation being the word nobody wants to hear.
This afternoon, Fulham welcome West Ham United to Craven Cottage, the Hammers are another side that spent a fortune in the summer but who haven’t enjoyed the success they had hoped for this season.
To us, here at Vital Fulham, this fixture has got ‘must win’ written all over it, otherwise, that dark cloud we’re living under will get a whole lot darker.
