Fulham Set To Raid France For Argentine Striker

|

As the opening of the January transfer window fast approaches, we can only but hope that Claudio Ranieri spends the money available to him far wiser than the previous incumbent of the managerial hot-seat, Slavisa Jokanovic did.

However, it remains to be seen who the Italian has his eyes on as Fulham desperately seek to climb out of the relegation zone.

Today, with speculation starting to gather momentum, Fulham are linked with the acquisition of a striker.

According to the news vehicle, the Daily Mail, Fulham are set to rival Cardiff City for the Argentine striker, Emiliano Sala.

The 28-year-old is currently on the books of the French side Nantes with whom he has scored 42 goals in 116 appearances.

At six feet two inches he is an imposing figure but whether he can make the difference needed to pull Fulham away from the relegation places remains to be seen.
