A Piece of Good News For Fulham Fans This Fine Saturday Morning

|

Since Claudio Ranieri was appointed as the manager of Fulham Football Club, replacing the axed Slavisa Jokanovic, it is fair to say that we’ve looked a better side.

However, in saying that and three games into the tenure of the Italian we’re still bottom of the Premier League table, not the most comfortable of places to occupy.

Among the noticeable improvement so the side sine Ranieri took over has been the form of Callum Chambers.

The 23-year-old, on loan from Arsenal, looks a natural fit for the midfield holding role, in front of the back-four.

However, with his parent club suffering a spate of injuries there were fears that Unai Emery, the Gunners boss, might be forced to recall the player.

Thankfully, those fears have been allayed by the good folk of the Standard, who have pointed out that the terms of the loan agreement mean that no such option exists and Callum will remain at Craven Cottage until the end of the season.

Let’s hope we can celebrate that news by getting a result at Old Trafford this afternoon.
