It’s Oldham (h) For Fulham In FA Cup 3rd Round Draw

|

With Claudio Ranieri doing his utmost to ensure that Fulham retain their Premier League status for next season, we’re not sure how important the FA Cup is viewed as this season.

Nevertheless, it is our duty to offer the competition the respect it deserves, after all, it is the most famous domestic cup competition in the world.

Tonight, the draw was held for the 3rd round of the competition, the most eagerly awaited draw of all.

With Ruud Gullit and Paul Ince drawing the balls, Fulham were given a home tie against Oldham Athletic who play in League Two.

It is a tie that Fulham should win but, when it comes to the FA Cup, you just never know.

But, returning to an earlier question, relating to the importance of the FA Cup, a run in this famous competition could provide the confidence and the springboard to escape the clutches of relegation.

Just a thought!
