The last day of the transfer window saw Fulham Football Club break their transfer record fee by signing Kostas Mitroglou.
In paying Olympiakos £12.5 million, it was hoped that Mitroglou would be our saviour, by scoring the goals that would keep us up.
Introduced to the Craven Cottage faithful, ahead of the 3-0 defeat at the hands of Southampton, he must have sat in the stands and wondered what he`d let himself in for,
But, whilst we all pray for something akin to the miracle we need to avoid relegation, there`s something else to ponder over.
It would appear we don`t know when Mitroglou will actually make his debut with Rene Meulensteen admitting,
“We have to wait and see how he responds to training.”
Can someone please tell Rene time is currently of the essence!
