Time to Panic

Our perilous league position, not only are we in the bottom three but we`re bottom of the pile, is leading to some interesting tabloid talk.

With Fulham having lost 13 of their last 16 Premier League fixtures, the intimation being bandied about by one leading tabloid is that Rene Meulensteen could be axed and Alan Curbishley moved into the managerial chair.

Meulensteen in quoting,

“It`s the biggest challenge Fulham have faced for many years.”

May well have summed up our plight and with our next two games being against Manchester United and Liverpool, the tabloid in question suggests that a brave decision might be made to bring in Curbishley, moving him sideways from his current role as Technical Director.

Would this be a panic measure or merely the sensible thing to do?

Your thoughts please!
