After denying that they would sell Marlon King, rumours are reaching our HQ that a deal has been done.

Indeed, it would appear that Fulham have agreed a deal with Watford whereby Marlon King comes to Craven Cottage and Collins John will move in the opposite direction.

Watford`s reluctance to do business seems to have been swayed by the offer in the region of £5 million.

King still has to agree personal terms and undergo a medical at Craven Cottage but, if the stories are correct, he`ll become Hodgson`s first signing and could well feature in the starting eleven against Arsenal this weekend.

  • I think this officially makes us the best championship side in the premiership now. Not that I’m pessimistic or anything…

  • and by quite a way too davidjwilkins…. £5m for King is a good buy but he isn’t gonna fire you to safety.

  • I havn’t a clue what to think of this! He has an undoubted goal ratio. he scored 4 goals with the 10 games he managed in the prem. He’s better than healy, kamara is away, macca aint back, him and johnson upfront? Deuce push back to midfield Davies on the left.

  • Sign as many championship players as you like, you’ll be playing in that league come next season.
