If losing our first game of the season wasn’t bad enough, to find the fine name of our club gracing the media for the wrong reasons had deflated me even further.
News broke on social media, yesterday evening, courtesy of the following posting from Cyrus Christie,
To the Fulham fan that decided to hit my sister at the game today and his wife who justified his action with racist remarks I hope your proud of yourself and feel like a big man. You’ll get what’s coming to you. Regardless how you felt about the result your actions are shameful????

that an altercation of a racist nature took place amongst the away support.
If that is the case, and we’ve no reason to doubt Christie, then we hope that the perpetrators are found.
Here at Vital Fulham we’re proud of our reputation of being a family club and we’d hate to see that reputation tarnished.
If you witnessed the altercation we strongly urge you to contact the club so that action, of the strongest nature, can take place.
Clearly this wasn’t a case of banter being exchanged but something far more sinister and it needs eradicating.
