Darlington goalkeeper David Stockdale could be on the move this summer with Fulham being the team leading the chase for his signature.

Both clubs are understood to have agreed a fee for the 24 year old which would see him join once the season has finished.

Darlington manager Dave Penney confirmed to the press that Fulham are leading the chase;

‘There might be things going on with Fulham. We’ll let you know if and when things happen,’

‘Nothing can happen this season obviously. We aren’t going to start chucking things about before things are agreed with club or player.’

Stockdale has played a big part in Darlington keeping a record 23 clean sheets this season and with our current top three keepers being over 30-years-old an injection of youth is surely needed!

However is the leap from league two to the Premiership (still a chance guys!!!) too big for this lad?

As always your views guys…
