Yesterday afternoon, Fulham took on Premier League Tottenham Hotspur in a friendly fixture.

Unfortunately for those wanting to catch a glimpse of the lads in action, it took place behind-closed-doors at Tottenham`s Enfield training facility.

However, on the back of the recent thrashing dished out to Preston North End in another friendly fixture, Fulham continued their pre-season with another fine win.

Fulham, captained by Marcus Bettinelli with Scott Parker on the bench and Ross McCormack back at Motspur Park receiving treatment, kept Tottenham at bay and were to snatch the win very late on, in the 88th minute.

The goal came after decent work from two of Fulham`s academy players. Stephen Humphrys provided the opening for Luca de Torre to slot home.

A good result that raises hope for the oncoming 2016 / 2017 season.
