Transfer gossip relating to possible signings is very sparse this morning.
The only gossip we can trace relates to a possible interest in the Newcastle player, Danny Simpson.
With Simpson having informed Newcastle United that he won`t be signing a new contract, we`re amongst a host of clubs, including Queens Park Rangers and West Ham United who are said to be lining up a move for the player.
But, before we all get excited, there is the added inference that Simpson may hang on to the summer before deciding where to move to, quite possibly to see who remains in the Premier League the churlish amongst us might suggest.
