Sanchez Reflects!

With our Premiership survival almost assured, Lawrie Sanchez has taken time out to reflect on the mad world associated with being a football manager.

Indeed, in a frank but honest interview carried out after the Liverpool match; it would seem that he took the Fulham offer against his better judgement.

Read what he has to say,

“I could quite easily have said I wouldn`t come here. I have built up quite a good reputation over the last three years so why put all that on the line for five games at a team that had one win in fourteen or fifteen?”

“But managers are strange people. We do put ourselves on the line for it.”

“If we had lost people would have said it hasn`t worked. But we won so it has worked and I was the right man.”

“That is what we do and I have been very fortunate that when push has come to shove my team or myself when I was playing have delivered.”

“I said to my staff ‘why do we put ourselves through this?` But that is what I do. I am a football manager and you put yourselves up for these things.”

“I am just very, very lucky in I have had more good days than bad days.”
