After being deprived of a well earned draw, the least we deserved from the fixture against Middlesbrough, courtesy of an awful decision, Lawrie Sanchez has, in his post match interview spoken out about the drama.

This is what he had to say,

“I told the ref he`d made a major error between himself and the linesman.”

“It`s a big decision that the linesman has to get right.”

“He had a clear view of it. If referees and linesman don`t want technology to take the big decisions out of their hands then they have to make those big calls.”

“I asked the linesman if he wanted to have a look at it on our monitor and if the officials were allowed to have a look, they would have given the goal.”

“But look at the reaction of the Boro players – their body language told the officials it was a goal.”

“Plus five Fulham players jumped in the air when it went in. I can`t understand how the officials didn`t see it, I don`t like technology but refs have to be right.”

“Everyone could see it was a goal. It was well over the line and why the officials haven`t given it I don`t know.”

Let`s hope that the point dropped doesn`t have serious ramifications at the end of the season.
