Image for Fulham lucky to lose only two.

With Brian McBride fracturing a knee cap, a freak injury, no-ones fault and Hameur Bouazza dislocating his shoulder, after been roughed up by Middlesbrough right back Andrew Davies, Fulham can count themselves highly fortunate that these two players were the only two casualties.

You see, Andrew Davies, a youth product from the Middlesbrough academy, is the most dangerous player I have ever seen.

He’s shocking at tackles which in turn causes great harm to other players, he mistimes them, he goes studs up, he absolutely infuriated me on Saturday.

On top of that when he challenges for a header it is equally as dangerous, arms flailing, grabbing onto opponents whilst jumping, not the shirt grabbing but actually tearing at peoples shoulders which is dangerous.

If you go out on a pitch with Davies you openly risk your health! Seriously though, a very rough player and as equally poor and if that’s the best that Englands most recent successful academy can conjure up, then English football is in serious decline.
