Mark Pembridge and Phillippe Christanval soon be back available for first team selection after lengthy injury lay-offs.
The two experienced Fulham midfielders returned to competitive action last night as they played in Fulham reserves’ 1-0 defeat at home to West Ham.
The two midfielders will strengthen manager Chris Coleman’s midfield options as the season enters it’s final stages.
Christanval, who has been out since mid-December played the full 90 minutes of the defeat last night whilst Pembridge- who has been out most of the season- managed to play out the first half.
Reserve team manager Billy McKinlay said:
‘It was great to see Pem back. He played only 45 minutes, which was planned. He probably could have stayed out there a lot longer but we didn’t want to abuse the situation.
‘Phillippe played the full game and did well, his passing and movement in midfield was different class.’
