After two games, David Healy has already established a goal a game record.
After netting at Ashburden Grove on Sunday he doubled his tally with a strike against Bolton last night.
Already he is starting to prove the many pundits wrong who suggested that he`d struggle in the Premier League.
Thankfully, one of those pundits isn`t Lawrie Sanchez.
Sanchez had this to say about the striker who is fast becoming a fans favourite at Craven Cottage.
“When you buy, some people will look and say ‘That wasn`t a good buy`. But I don`t feel vindicated about David.”
“I think he has scored something like 23 goals in 29 games under me as a manager so I had no doubts that he would score goals for Fulham.”
Hopefully, Healy can notch another this Saturday against a Middlesbrough team who looked very lightweight at Wigan on Wednesday night.
