Sat in the local public house last night, with a few friends, we entered into one of those debates that you hope would never happen.
We went down the theoretical route whereby we debated one of those what if scenarios.
On this occasion the what if question related to the possibility of there no longer being a Fulham Football Club, of it all having gone pear-shaped and slid down the slippery financial slope that many other clubs are perched precariously on.
As the person who seemed to be chairing the imaginary scenario I wanted to know where your support would be diverted to if Craven Cottage was no more.
Would you give up football altogether or is that an impossible situation?
Would you start following another London side or would that be too painful?
Our opinions were split!
Out of our little group we agreed that life without football would be intolerable but we all agreed that another Premier League outfit would be a no go.
In the end, after several pints of the stronger amber nectar on offer in the establishment, the consensus of opinion was that we`d probably end up at somewhere like Brentford!
But what would you do, we`d be interested to find out!
