Following on from our FA Cup exit at Old Trafford, Fulham will be attempting to get back to winning ways when we welcome West Ham United to Craven Cottage this Wednesday evening. With West Ham currently notorious for their poor away form, is it a home banker?

Vital Quotes:

To follow.

Fulham Team News:

Fulham fans are expecting Martin Jol to give our loan signing Emmanuel Frimpong his first Fulham start.

Not expected to be considered yet is the returning to full match fitness Simon Davies whilst Kieran Richardson (calf), Mahamadou Diarra (knee) and Kerim Frei (pelvis) are all not available.

Player to watch: Emmanuel Frimpong

Let`s see if he`s better than anything we`ve already got!

West Ham Team News:

Sam Allardyce brings his squad to Craven Cottage with rumours that the pony-tailed striker, Andy Carroll may be fit enough to play a part. Also looking for a recall will be Marouane Chamakh, who is on loan from Arsenal and wasn`t allowed to participate in the thrashing dished out by Arsenal.

Allardyce is also likely to shore up his defence with his newest signing Emanuel Pogatetz, a former Middlesbrough player signed from Wolfsburg.

Player to watch: Kevin Nolan

The West Ham skipper has the uncanny knack of getting on the score sheet.

Match Facts & Stats

It`s about time we started to change the statistics against West Ham, the record books show that we usually come off second best.

The results from the last 17 Premier League meetings show West Ham have won 10, drawn 5 and lost only 2, that`s just not good enough is it!

And as for fixtures on our home patch, it doesn`t get much better. In the last 8 clashes in the Premier League, we`ve lost 6, drawn 1 and won 1.

Ref Watch:

Our officials on Wednesday evening are:

C. Foy (referee)
M. McDonough (assistant)
M. Wilkes (assistant)
C. Pawson (fourth official)

Match Prediction:

I seem to recall that West Ham away was one of our poorest performances; surely we can play better against them this time. The Hammers away form mirrors ours – poor, so I`m going for a narrow Fulham win, 2-1 for me!

Next Fixtures:

Next up for Fulham is a difficult home fixture against Manchester United this weekend, can we get anything from that one?
