Our away record, in the Premier League continues to be on the poor side.

We`ve played 17 fixtures and of those we`ve won only 1, we`ve drawn 9 and lost 7

Turning just a couple of those draws into wins would have given us an extra four points and left me far more convinced that we`re not, with some difficult fixtures to come, about to be sucked back into that area just above the relegation drop zone

Yesterday, against Wolves, it was yet another draw but amongst the many statistics is one that shows that we don`t really get the rub of the green on the road.

Up at Molineux, Fulham managed a very respectable 19 shots, the healthiest return we`ve had on the road when it comes to shots, but still we still drew.

I`d hazard a guess that there have been occasions, at home, when we`ve had far fewer shots than that but won quite comfortably.

Stats, don`t you just love them!

  • Describing our away form as ‘poor’ is like describing Arsene Wenger as ‘aloof.’ He’s an arrogant a$$ and our away record is embarrassingly, laughably, gut-wrenchingly awful.

  • i know teddy, everytime we play away i get a sick feeling when i am watching sky sports news because it the same bloody result! Then i spend the rest of the evening wondering why? especially if we have had a good result at home the pervious game…..COYW!

  • from our stat page we only had 5 shots on target though… but admittedly dempsey should have at least gotten his golden opportunity on frame…
