Fulham Linked With Ukrainian Wing-Back

|

With the 2018 / 2019 Premier League season drawing ever closer, it remains to be seen who Fulham Football Club decide to add to the squad before the big kick-off.

The latest piece of speculation emerging, according to the Telegraph, infers that Slavisa Jokanovic is looking to add a wing-back to the squad who is of Ukrainian origin.

The wing-back in question being Oleksandr Zinchenko.

Zinechenko is currently on the books of the reigning Premier League title holders, Manchester City, but only played sporadically for Pep Guardiola’s side last season.

The player is rated around the £16 million mark, not a bad price in the inflated transfer market of today.

However, as you’d suspect, Fulham have rivals for his signature with Wolverhampton Wanderers also showing an interest.

Now whether Zinechenko can be persuaded that the bright lights of London is a far more attractive proposition remains to be seen.

But, here at Vital Fulham, we’re keeping our fingers crossed.
