Having decided to retire from international football could Zoltan Gera be having a change of heart?

The indications are that is certainly the case with the Hungarian boss, Sandor Egervani, confirming that he has held lengthy discussions about the matter.

Apparently meetings have taken place between the new manager and Zoltan with Egervani remarking,

‘We were talking through the whole morning and I talked to him about the present situation and outlined him my plans with the team.’

‘Zoli said that there were so many positive changes lately that he’d like to come back to the national team and I’m very happy about it.”

‘At that time he told the national coach that he doesn’t want to play in the team for a while and now he told the national coach (to me) that he wants to play again because of the changed atmosphere.’

So could we see Zoltan Gera in the Hungarian line-up when they challenge England at Wembley shortly? It certainly looks that way!
