Fulham Deal For Brighton Winger Moves Closer To Completion

|

A recent article we published, here at Vital Fulham, didn’t receive a universally positive response.

The article, at-last-fulham-are-linked-with-a-possible-signing inferred that Fulham were looking to bring the Brighton winger, Anthony Knockaert, to Craven Cottage.

If you view some of the comments left after the article Click Here some readers suggested it was never going to happen.

Well, it appears that isn’t the case with it being announced by at least two sources that a deal is imminent.

Firstly, the local south-coast news source, The Argus, implies that Brighton and Fulham are close to agreeing to a deal whilst, secondly, The Sun implies that the 27-year-old French winger has had a medical at Fulham ahead of signing a season-long loan deal.

With the club previously announcing the signing of parkers-first-signing-of-the-summer, Ivan Cavaleiro, is Scott Parker setting out his stall to play attacking football with two speedy and skillful wingers providing the ammunition for Aleksandar Mitrovic to deliver the goods, it certainly looks that way.
