Competition for Maxi Lopez!

There are still mutterings in the press about Fulham`s interest in the Argentine striker, Maxi Lopez.

Whereas, a few weeks ago, the price tag was a huge £10 million, the inference now is that he could be wrestled from his current club, Catania, for as little as £6.5 million.

However, the inference is that if Fulham want the 27 year-old forward they will have to move quick as there is serious competition for the player from the Italian club, Fiorentina, who have already lodged a bid of £6.5 million.
