And so with renewed hope, after the fine FA Cup win over Norwich City, we head to the Emirates Stadium to take on Arsenal.

It`s a fixture not many are giving us a chance in hell of getting a result in, but in this crazy game of ours you just never know????.

But what does the history books and form guides tell us?

Here`s a few pointers:-

? Fulham when playing on Arsenal home soil have never, ever won. In 110 years the best we`ve managed is 5 draws whilst we`ve suffered 22 defeats.

? But in recent years we have been edging closer, in our last two visits to the Emirates we`ve come away with 0-0 draws.

? Arsenal enter this fixture in fine form, after an opening day loss to Aston Villa, Arsenal are unbeaten in the subsequent 9 home fixtures, in those 9 fixtures they`ve dropped just 4 points and conceded only 3 goals.

? If Fulham fall behind it won`t be anything too unusual as Arsenal have scored first in 16 of their 21 matches this season.

? Our form this season is record breaking, we`ve lost 14 of our first 21 fixtures for the first time in our history.

? We`ve conceded 46 league goals the most by any Premier League side this season and we`ve kept only 3 clean sheets, the fewest by a Premier League side.

? As far as corners go, we`re top notch, we`ve scored from 7, a feat only matched by Manchester City.

? The record books infer that our on-loan striker, Darren Bent, should start as Bent has scored 7 goals in 11 Premier League appearances against Arsenal.
