After lambasting the ‘Royal Family` during his appearance at the Princess Diana inquest, you`d have kind of thought Mr Al Fayed would realise that he`d get a hot reception from those who follow the East End club.
Therefore, it might have made more sense not to do his customary walk around the pitch and be greeted by such chants as,
“There`s only one Prince Phillip”
and
“God save the Queen”
by the Boleyn faithful.
Then again when has Mr Al Fayed ever been the kind to shy away from anything?
