The furore over that late West Ham winner continues to rumble on!
Personally, after watching the replay, I doubt, unless he`s completely lost his marbles whether Howard Webb can look himself straight in the eye as he has a shave this morning.
It may be a personal view but as editor of this site, it`s my right and privilege to state it.
After the match Roy Hodgson spoke out about the incident and plainly admitted that he hadn`t hammered on the referee`s dressing room door, remarking,
“What`s the point in talking to him? Will he change the result, will he go back on his decision, will he rescind the red card, and will he take away the goal?”
“It`s a pointless exercise.”
A good point Roy and seeing as we were at home and would no doubt have to foot the bill, I don`t suppose kicking the door in was a viable option either!
