Our young striker, Cauley Woodrow, will not be returning to Craven Cottage this season.

The eighteen year-old, who has been on loan at the League Two side, Southend United, has seen his loan spell extended until the end of the season.

Woodrow has made 10 appearances for Southend scoring 2 goals with the Southend manager, Phil Brown, remarking about his young charge,

“Extending this until the end of the season means he can settle here, work hard and improve as a footballer.”

“As a young striker it`s important to get games and goals. Cauley has got a couple in the cup and I`m sure when he does get that first league goal he`ll kick on from there.”

We`ll see you next season then young man!
