According to reports today Roy is chasing Birmingham pair Olivier Kapo and Sebastian Larsson.

Roy has been busy in the transfer market so far, signing goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer and apparently working on deals to lure Bernard Mendy and Louis Saha to the Cottage.

With Roy wishing to provide more depth and quality to the side I believe these two players do exactly that. Kapo provides more competition on the Left of Midfield and Larsson is both young and talented.

With regards to the Saha rumours, I am unsure on how much ground they have. Saha has obvious talent and ability but has been frustrated by injury. I am not too sure he will want to come back to Fulham and for the reported £4million it seems to be a lot of money for Roy to be comfortable in risking on a player that could spend the whole season on the medics bench!

Your thoughts please!!

  • it will be interesting to see who roys brings into the team. Saha i think would like to come back to fulham and all we can hope for is he isnt always on the bench due to a problem.

  • I wasnt hoping that youd stay up so you could nick OUR transfer targets…go get yer own!

  • We can do better than Saha – someone younger and less injury-prone! Louis gave a lot to the club but he’s just not reliable, I’m afraid.

  • I’d be happy with louis Saha coming back but will he be willing to take the wage cut? As for the others Larson i think is a great talent if we can get him it will be great and Kapo on the left would be better cover than Bouazza

  • I think Bouazza, with Roys coaching, Can be VERY good! He has everything there, speed, strength, Defensive and offensive abilities and a good delievery. He just needs to put it all together!

  • These two brum players sound ok, for gods sake don’t buy Forsell though! I think all Fulham players are feeling the same about the Saha transfer rumour.. the head says NO the heart says yes. I’d have to say no owing to his injury problems
