In recent weeks the paths of Wigan and Fulham have travelled similar routes.
Both of us have expressed an interest in similar players, perhaps indicating that we`re now of a similar stature when to comes to the type of players we can expect to sign.
However, Wigan now seem intent on poaching our midfield player, Michael Brown, from us.
Brown remains part of a trio of players, the others being Jason Koumas and Marlon Harewood whom the Latics seem keen to sign.
Thankfully, Fulham are playing hard to get. Wigan have, according to reports, offered £2.5 million for Brown whilst Fulham value him at £3.5 million.
Let`s hope we have the fortitude to hold out for what he`s worth seeing as other clubs are charging us extortionate prices to sign players.
