Yesterday it was reported that Fulham were considering a double swoop for the West Ham United duo of Ravel Morrison and Mohamed Diame.
Today the inference is that Fulham might be better served in trying to persuade West Ham to part with just one of the duo.
To that effect, it is being inferred that Diame is the preferred option with his drive and power being seen as an essential part of our survival plans.
As for a bid, the figure of £5 million is being bandied about although the inference given by one Sunday tabloid is that the drive for Diame is being championed by Alan Curbishley other than Rene Meulenstenn who, mischievously, the tabloid press infer would prefer a concentrated bid for Morrison, a player he had dealings with when both were at Old Trafford.
