When You Score Three??.

The 3-3 draw at the Madejski Stadium yesterday is already a contender for the game of the season.

The finish was the most spectacular I`ve witnessed for many a year and either side could have sneaked the three points.

Understandably, there were mixed emotions from the managerial chairs after the game with each having their own opinion of how the game panned out.

Martin Jol had this to say about how the game went,

“We started off brightly and had a lot of possession, but there was no purpose to our game.”

“We caused problems for ourselves by losing the ball.”

“But the second half was a different story. We did exactly what we wanted. We passed the ball well, had great movement and scored three goals – and when you score three goals at Reading you expect to win.”

“Maybe we need to stop giving away free-kicks.”

A good point seeing as they`ve cost us dearly recently.
