We‘ll let me inform you.

We’ve signed 6 foot 5 defender Brede Hangeland from FC Copenhagen however he won’t be able to play against Arsenal.

We’ve almost signed Eddie Johnson from Kansas City Wizards but will have to wait till Wednesday to see if he will get his work permit. Although it isn`t anticipated there will be any problems.

Marlon King has failed a fitness test and Fulham are considering offering a lower sum, drop it a couple of million please, for King, with the rest of the fee based on appearances.

Leon Andreasen from Werder Bremen was at Fulham’s training ground yesterday. Deep in talks with a move suggested to be completed in the next 72hours if he can get a work permit and doesn`t fail the medical.

Rumours:

Fulham are also keen on a loan deal for Lazio defender Guglielmo
Stendardo
, obviously not 100% sure he`ll cut the mustard enough for a full time transfer.

Following the departure of Fulham’s manager, Lawrie Sanchez, Baird is still undecided whether he wants to stay at Fulham or move to another unfortunate club. Who would want him if you ask me!

Good luck to the lads against Arsenal, and if you see a lad with an ’18 TODAY’badge that will be yours truly, and your more than welcome to buy me a drink!

  • Now let’s see the Watford boards backbone stand up and say ‘hell no, it’s £5m or nought’… King has played 24 games so far this season without issue and is fit for purpose. It should be £5 or no sale.

  • RussianHammer is right, Leon wouldn’t need a work permit as Denmark is in the EU (but isn’t one of the newer accession countries). I’ll be pretty pleased if all these signings come through for us. Happy birthday orange_emu.

  • Anyone from the old EU countries can work anywhere else in the EU. The only restrictions are on the newer countries like Romania. Players from outside the EU need a work permit to work in the UK.
