It looks as if someone jumped the gun!
Whilst the internet was flooded with the suggestion that we`d be visiting Gillingham to play a pre-season friendly, it appears we probably will not!
We received this prompt from the club,
We are aware that an announcement appeared on the Gillingham club website concerning a friendly fixture between our two clubs in the forthcoming pre-season.
At present we are still in the process of finalising our pre-season fixtures. When matches have been confirmed we will announce details of these games through our official club website and the other normal channels. I can confirm that there are no plans in place to play Gillingham FC at this time.
Unless, off course, anyone knows something different!
