Watford v Fulham Q&A

We have got together with Dean the site Editor of Vital Watford and he has come up with some questions for us and vice versa.

1. How comes Al Fayed is not putting much money into the club these days?

A… I think that Al Fayad has put in alot of money over the years and also had to plough a lot of money into Craven Cottage to bring it up to premiership standards, however I think most premiership fans would like to see their board/chairman cough up a few or a lot more £millions but Chelsea we ain’t!!

2. Do Fulham still have a neutral stand?

A… Putney end.

3. What do you think of Helguson?

A… I am a biased bugger and think that Helguson is a terrific player, (I always liked him when he played for you guys) and hope that he has a good season.

4. Is Coleman still the right man for the job?

A…Yes I do think Coleman is the man for the job, I consider he has done very well with limited resources and having to lose our best players to ‘Bigger clubs’ can never be easy, he grinds out results sometimes when you least expect it, is straight and honest and considering this is his first managerial post has done well.

5. Where will Fulham finish this season?

A…Top ten and I can’t really predict any better than that, as has been well covered by this site and the media the squad is getting very low on fit players and all the currant injuries are to key squad members so this makes it difficult to predict.

6. Who will be a Fulham player to watch this season?

A…I would like to have said Bullard but unfortunately I don’t think we will see him again this season, so I will say Routledge and hope and pray that Spurs sell him to us at the end of the season long loan, but won’t hold my breath!!

7. What’s your prediction for the match

A…1-2

8. We’re a self-indulgent lot, what do you know/think of Watford?

A… apart from the obvious connection with Elton John and your up and down form (similar to ours!!) and Graham Taylor’s couple of stints as Manager not a lot really, you have had an unfortunate start to the season but then so have alot of clubs (even the so called ‘bigger’ clubs, look at Tottenham…lol)I think that you will improve and get some good results, but hopefully your improvement will start after your next home game…lol.

hanks again to Dean for submitting the questions and good luck Watford for the rest of the season (well, except for a couple of games anyway!)
