Zeno is next up for the Vital Fulham interview.

1 – How long have you been a Fulham fan and how did you get the bug?
26 years now since my first game watching Fulham, unlike most others I didn’t get the bug passed down from my family. My Dad is from Leeds and was a rugby league fan, he started watching Fulham RLFC in 1980 and took me along. I wanted to watch the football instead and one of his close friends took me.

2 – What was your first game?
26th December 1982 (I think) Fulham 1 Cambridge United 1.

3 – What is your most memorable moment as a Fulham fan?
Blackburn away and the presentation after Wimbledon at home, back in the top division.

4 – And the worst moment?
Torquay away, say no more!

5 – Who are your favourite current Fulham players?
Like everybody else, Jimmy Bullard is a pleasure to have at our club. Plays the game in the spirit that it should be played.

6 – Which former player/s are your ultimate heroes?
Ivor bas my boyhood hero, Morgs for his services to the club and Cookie was also a good servant for the club.

7 – Which player do you think was the worst to ever put on the team colours?
Nobody really springs to mind, rose tinted spectacles perhaps!

8 – What is the best goal you have seen Fulham score and which is your favourite game?
178 of them by Ivor, but the John Harley thunderbolt was probably the best for me. The Liverpool games in the Milk Cup were great, Man City at home when the score board broke, but the one game that sticks in my mind was Notts County at home, half time pitch invasion (!) and a fantastic second half performance to win against a top side in the league.

9 – Best away ground visited?
Anfield, was great to see the kop before they pulled it down. Not so good to see Robbie Fowler’s home debut at the same time!

10 – Who would you like to see Fulham sign this summer?
No preferences really, we all know what is needed at the club to take us forward and I do trust Roy’s judgement.

11 – What are your predictions for us this season in the:
a) League: Safe mid table.
b)Carling Cup: Got a sneaky feeling this year that we could go all the way.
c) Fa Cup: As long as we’re not giant killed (!) again, I don’t really mind.

12 – What is your opinion of Roy Hodgson?
A shock appointment, but it does appear that he is the man to take us forward. He’s yet to get my 100% backing in the transfer market, with some poor choices in January, but we’ll see how his team pans out as the season gets under way. I would like to see him around for many years with an upstairs job in a few seasons and a younger manager under his wing.

13 – What is your opinion of MAF?
How can we ever fault the guy, has put his money where his mouth is for 11 years now. Anybody who has criticism of the guy obviously has a short memory, maybe they would prefer to see the Clay’s back!

14 – Are you happy to stay at the Cottage or is it time to move on?
Happy, I honestly can not see us becoming a big Premiership club and 30 odd thousand is more than enough for a club our size, which the cottage could eventually become.

15 – Where do you sit at the Cottage and are you a season ticket holder?
Have been a bit of an armchair fan for the last few years, live in Southampton and with 5 children, I’ve been priced out of the game a bit! Bit ironic that I held a season ticket throughout the dark days and stooped going as much now we’re more successful!

16 – If you could invite 4 people connected to Fulham, living or dead, to a dinner party, who would they be?
Ivor for childhood god like worship, Tommy Trinder for the laughs, Morgs because he’s Morgs and Cookie because the better half fancies him and life wouldn’t be worth living if I didn’t include him!

Thanks Zeno for taking the time to answer the questions.
