On the eve of the clash with Wigan, Vital Fulham decided now was the time to get up close to the opposition.

1. Steve Bruce has taken you to another level, do you fear his sucess may see him become a target for another club?

Not at all, I fully expect him to leave at some point, there are a lot of Manchester United supporters who see Brucie as the guy to take up the reins once Ferguson calls it a day and I believe thats where he will end up when he leaves us.

To be considered to follow in Fergies footsteps means he will need to keep us on the up and up and that’ll do for me.

2. Were you disappointed to see Emile Hesley leave and what are your thoughts on his replacement?

Heskey has been superb for us, but for the three seasons he’s been at the JJB he has missed half of each through injury, also I think we needed a bit of change for all his power and strength Heskey didn`t score enough, 8 was the most he got in a season.

So disappointed, no, happy we got some cash, he was out of contract in the summer, and grateful for his performances and so he goes with my best wishes.

We got Mido in as a replacement and I think we did well, he is very much in the Heskey mould, strong and can hold the ball up well, but he scores and with his Egyptian mate Zaki along side him we have got a fearsome frontline

3. Who in our team do you think will cause you the most problems on Saturday?

Andy Johnson, always seems to score against us, he’s pacey and direct and causes problems for defenders where ever he plays

4. What do you make of Gentleman Roy?

Fantastic manager, doing a great job with your lot, though couldn`t believe he sold Jimmy ‘B’

His sides always try to play good attractive football and I am looking forward to what should be an entertaining game on Saturday

5. Bullard played for us both, are you surprised he ended up at Hull of all places?

It would never surprise me wherever Jimmy ended up, he is a charcter who just lives and breathes football and I know he was good around the JJB, never a dull moment, should inagine he was the same at the Cottage and no doubt he’ll carry on up on the East Coast

6. A prediction for Saturday and a prediction of where you think both teams will finish this season?

I know you aren`t the best travellers and lately we have been fantastic at home so I see this as either a 2-0 or 2-1 home win, as for the season, we will both comfortably make mid-table though we will challange Everton for that Europa Cup spot and I think you will edge out West Ham and take 8th

Our thanks go to Worbo at Vital Wigan for taking time out to chat with us.
