Now that the former Manchester united coach, Rene Meulensteen is on board the good-ship Fulham, it hasn`t taken the media long to link us with a couple of Old Trafford players.

Our associates over at the Metro are championing the idea the, come January, Fulham will be looking to bring a duo down from Old Trafford, hopefully to steer the good-ship Fulham into calmer waters.

The duo being mentioned are Wilfried Zaha and Anderson.

Zaha was signed from Crystal Palace by Sir Alex Ferguson, but the 21 year-old has struggled to make any impact at Old Trafford and the suggestion has been floating about that he is destined to go on loan, somewhere, this January.

Anderson, 25 years of age, is desperate for first team football to give himself a chance of breaking back into the Brazilian squad, for the 2014 World Cup. Up at Old Trafford he has been nothing more than a fringe player, but would a move to West London be have a high enough profile to re-launch an international career?

Two very interesting rumours but as t whether there`s any truth in them, I guess we`ll have to sit back and wait and see.
