Having already lost Clint Dempsey and Moussa Dembele to the bigger-boys, are we in danger of losing another of our stalwarts?

One Sunday paper takes great delight in inferring that Manchester United may be eyeing up a move for Brede Hangeland to cover for their ongoing central defender crisis once the January transfer window opens.

Would Brede be tempted by a move to Old Trafford?

I`m honest enough to admit that if the deal was right a deal would probably be done!

How about you?

  • You have to wonder why we keep letting out best players run down their contracts to the last year which puts as at a huge disadvantage when it comes to renegotiate them, if Brede doesn?t want to sign a new deal why wasn?t he sold in the summer and a replacement got in, now we will probably lose him in January for next to nothing and then be left panic buying so that we have a replacement for him or watch him walk away on a free in the summer. At least if we hold on to him until the summer we will have time to get a decent replacement in.
