This Saturday, Fulham are back up in the north-west of the country, looking to get their first away win of the 2018 / 2019 Premier League season when they face Everton, at Goodison Park.

The last time we ventured this far north for a Premier League game we were beaten by Manchester City, although there is no shame in that.

However, the BBC pundit, Mark Lawrenson reckons it’ll be more misery, this Saturday, for Fulham supporters.

Lawrenson is predicting that Everton will win 2-0.

Now, here at Vital Fulham, we’re not going to accept that judgement even though the statistics show that trips to Goodison Park don’t usually end well for Fulham with the last 21 all ending in defeat.

That run has got to end sometime and with Fulham needing 1 win to make it 300 victories in the top-flight, we reckon this Saturday we’re going to nick this one, by the odd goal in three.

As for Lawrenson, this is what he had to say about the outcome of the game:

“As we saw again with the chances they missed against Arsenal, Everton are still missing a finisher.

“That defeat at the Emirates Stadium means the Toffees have won only one of their first six league games, but they have actually not been playing that badly and I think they will put that right here.”

Go on lads, make him eat his words.
