Transfer Target Is Probably Bemused By The Turn Of Events Today

This morning, before the dramatic events of the day became our main news, Fulham were being mentioned in a piece of transfer speculation that could take place in January.

According to the Turkish press source, Aksam, Fulham are looking to boost their midfield contingent by bringing in a Turkish international.

According to our referenced source, the player in our sights is Ozan Tufan, who is currently on the books of Fenerbahce.

However, if our source is correct, then Fulham are not the only Premier League club who are in the market for the player with our South London rivals, Crystal Palace, also getting a mention.

Unfortunately, I’m not up to speed when it comes to Turkish football and I’m not able to give any forthright views on whether the player would be a good acquisition or simply no better than what we have now.

But, I would hazard a guess that with the announcement made this morning relating to Claudio Ranieri replacing Slavisa Jokanovic, the goal-posts could have slightly moved.

Nevertheless, we’ll keep an inquisitive eye just in case.
