Our inconsistent form continues to see Fulham Football Club flirt with relegation.

But whilst we may be sitting too low in the table for my liking the consensus is that it`d take a disastrous run of results for Fulham to actually be relegated.

But, confidence will only be forthcoming to banish those dreaded thoughts if Fulham can get some results and start to climb the Championship table.

The seven points may seem like a comfortable margin but having witnessed our slide out of the Premier League, not that long ago, it is a worrying scenario.

However, a recent Craven Cottage acquisition, Michael Madl, reckons Fulham are too good to go down, remarking,

‘For sure we want to stay up. We need to count as many points as we can and see where we are after the last game.

‘We need more points and have the quality in this team to win more games. We know we can beat nearly every team in this league. I don’t think we are looking over our shoulder.

‘I think if we play like we did against Charlton and QPR then we are a really good Championship team. We need to show this every time for 90 minutes.’

Which brings us right back to that word inconsistency again!
