On the eve of our Premier League fixture against Manchester City, Lawrie Sanchez has spoken to the media.

The subject the touched upon related to a common factor regarding Fulham and Manchester City, that of spending money, this is what he had to say,

“We have spent money because I thought the club needed reviving and Manchester City have done likewise.”

“They had a new investor with a lot of money.”

“If you are able to spend £8 million on someone then you narrow the category of players available and tend not to gamble as much as if you are paying smaller fees.”

“You tend to get a finished product for £8 million – it`s more of a risk when you`re spending less.”

In that case, can I be churlish and ask why we`ve signed so many unfinished products or would that be considered rude!
