Many people may well be asking how our goalkeeping coach, Dave Beasant, survived the recent cull!
Rumours abound that Beasant is felling a little guilty that the way the situation has turned out he may have had something to do with the recent events. However, it would appear that they couldn`t be further from the truth.
Indeed, our source has told us that the current regime were all to be removed from office until Lawrie Sanchez was asked who he`d like as his goal keeping coach.
His immediate response was, it seems, to request the services of Dave Beasant!
In all honesty it was hardly a surprise considering Beasant also works with Sanchez in the Northern Ireland set up.
Perhaps it was simply a case of being in the right place at the right time!
