In our latest poll, kindly suggested by orange_emu, we speculated as to how the Vital Network perceives Fulham will do this forthcoming season.

The reason I say Vital Network rather than Vital Fulham is simply because these polls are always open to voting by those who follow other teams.

That`s the only logical conclusion I can come to as a reason why a high percentage (26%) chose the option that Fulham will be relegated, jokers the lot of them! Thanks Spurs, Arsenal and Villa!

As for the other two categories, we`re pleased to see that a majority, 60% believe this will be our most successful Premiership campaign ever.

Whilst only 14% would disapprove with that statement.

Our thanks go to orange_emu for his suggestion.

  • I didnt vote in the poll, but I think sanchez is doing a really good job, although I feel you will finish in the bottom half next season, I think you will be a tough side to beat, well organised and will cause a few upsets (hopefully not against spurs), players like cook and davies have a lot of promise and if they settle in early you could expect a comfortable league position rather than a relegation fight, Good luck.

  • Do you not think a few of your fans are toying with the possibility you’re going to have a tough season. No offence but the relagation battle may well be fought on a few fronts this season.

  • I would say not much real money has been spent and that Fulham will be fighting relegation or maybe just keep clear. Sanchez does not have the ability as a manager at this level. UTV

  • I think you lot will still finish in the bottom half of the league and saying that your away record is terrible. You’ve bought in some good players like Cook and Healy I think you’ll finish about midtable about 14th or 15th.

  • I’m a Villa fan, and I don’t want you to go down, you’ve just bought a great player in Steven Davies of us, I want to see him do well, I think you might struggle, but the sarcasm towards others dosen’t help, just looking across at your new poll, not going well for sanchez, who yer gonna blame for that, chelsea fans!

  • got to be a realist rather than arse sucking here. I like fulham as I lived near them for a cpl of years and they are a london club but to be honest they need some inspiration and they certainly don’t have any at the moment. they have a foundation but now they need at least one inspirational player and maybe a new manager. to the guy who wrote this: don’t delude yourself, you are going to be fighting at the bottom with at least one of the new boys and wigan and bolton. I wish you weren’t but you haven’t invested and of all seasons this is the one you need to go big. good luck and I hope I’m wrong.

  • p.s how you can say 26% is a high vote that you will be relegated I will never know. I would say 70% is a truer outlook but I hope I’m wrong!

  • Lawrie Sanchez is a genius. Just look at what he did with Northern Ireland!! It even tops Greece’ defensive fluke in Euro04.

  • I’m a Spurs supporter who always liked the Football played by Fulham. I’m sorry that Coleman has gone, though I understand the reasoning.

  • I have no axe to grind with Fulham, but in my view they will be in a relegation battle this season. I just find it hard to see how it can be avoided, unless of course Sanchez works miracles. IMO Derby, Wigan & Birmingham have tough season ahead of you. Good luck!

  • i reckon Jimmy Bullard could be the inspiration they’re looking for, I think they really missed him last season. And as if we’d sabotage their poll!

  • they’ll all be a revelation this season – you’ve gotta have faith, don’t we all every seaosn?
