With only two games to go before we wave goodbye to the 2012/2013 season, the future of our 40 year-old Australian keeper, Mark Schwarzer, is still shrouded in mystery.

According to comments in the Evening Standard today, a deal is far from done and Schwarzer may be forced to ply his trade elsewhere with the Aussie quoted as having remarked,

‘There has been a discussion but there’s no actual offer on the table at the moment,’

“I’m just concentrating on playing football and playing as well as I possibly can. One way or another it will be sorted out. I’ve got no concerns about that, whether it’s at Fulham or elsewhere.’

Come on folks, can we get this sorted out quickly!
