What did Kit have to say after our fine away win?

After the 3-0 win over Sheffield United, in the Capital One Cup in midweek, I had this gut feeling that Fulham would go to Millmoor and take the three points on offer against struggling Rotherham United.

It was a gut feeling that was proven to be correct with Fulham producing a competent performance to win 3-1 to grab their first Championship win of the season.

After the victory, Kit Symons spoke to the press and is quoted in The Sun as having remarked about the win,

“It was important we put in a decent performance and get three points on the board. We made it hard work conceding a penalty and giving away a stupid goal. We rode our luck a little and Andy Lonergan made a great save from the penalty.”

Symons also had a few words for Ben Pringle who returned to Millmoor to score against the side Fulham signed him from in the summer, with Symons adding,

“I was delighted for Ben. He`s a bit of a crowd favourite here as well, that`s why I took him off with a minute or so to go so he could get the recognition he deserves from the Rotherham fans.

“He works his socks off for the team.”

Some kind words indeed for somebody who is already an unsung hero!
