In hindsight I wonder if Kit Symons would have taken the Fulham job if he knew what he knows now.

Symons, with the fans approval, took on the Fulham managerial role at a difficult time, ditching his role as the assistant manager of Wales, alongside Chris Coleman.

Sadly, Fulham`s results meant that Symons was axed and as for Wales?????well you get my drift.

Ahead of the new 2016 / 2017 season, Kit has spoken to BBC Radio London and the Welshman isn`t that optimistic about Fulham`s chances of having a successful season this time around, with Kit remarking,

‘I’d love the club to do well, but I think it’s a tough time.

‘The Championship is unforgiving and is really tough, and I think with the teams that have come up and down it’s going to be even tougher next season.

‘I’ve got a lot of history with Fulham, having been part of two promotions and stuff I did with the Under-18s and Under-21s, and then I felt I did a good job with the first team.

‘I hope they are very successful. It’s a brilliant club and the Fulham fans deserve that.’

Hopefully we`ll prove Kit wrong by coming out of the blocks flying and keeping the momentum going!
