As Kit Symons continues to shuffle his pack, in the hope of putting together a squad capable of winning promotion, there is an interesting piece of gossip floating around at the moment.

Our associates over at the Daily Mail are implying that Fulham are in talks to bring a Brazilian defender to Craven Cottage.

The Brazilian in question is Eric Fernando Botteghin who is currently on the books of the Dutch side Groningen.

Although Brazilian by birth; the player does possess an Italian passport which would eliminate the need for a work permit.

At 6 feet 4 inches tall he has the build to be an imposing centre half and so far, during his career, he has played for NAC Breda and Groningen, joining the latter in 2013.

At the present it looks like the deal could be in its infancy as no fee is mentioned but we`ll do our best to keep abreast of the situation.
