It would appear, that is if we were ever really truly in the race for Peter Crouch, we`re currently lagging behind Sunderland in the race for his signature.
Crouch, who reportedly proposed to his girlfriend (the gorgeous Abbey Clancy, who happily accepted) is reputedly, according to the tabloid media, in talks with Sunderland after the Wearside club agreed a £12 million deal with Portsmouth.
I guess it could all come down to a straight choice, a preference for Wearside or Thameside!
