I didn`t think it would be too long before the services of the excellent David Stockdale would be required elsewhere.
With Mark Schwarzer in such fine form, Stockdale`s career is in danger of stagnating. It wasn`t too long ago, when Schwarzer was injured, that the young stopper was mentioned in the same breath as an England call-up, now his career seems to be one of being permanently sat on the bench.
To that effect we`re pleased for the lad that he has gone off on loan, to Hill City, whereby it is perceived that their boss, Steve Bruce, believes that he will provide good competition for his current number one – Ben Amos.
Here at Vital Fulham we`d like to wish David all the best and we sincerely hope he gets that first team experience he so deserves.
